The church is looking respectable inside again thanks to so much hard work put in by many willing volunteers. Outside, the church garden is looking very attractive thanks to the efforts of the gardeners who at the time of writing have spent some hours tidying and planting on a hot day. If anyone is able to give even a small amount of time in clearing round the back of the church in preparation for a gravel path to be laid, this would be very much appreciated.
The always popular Sausage & Mash evening and Beetle Drive held in May went very well. Many thanks to all involved in organising this event. Over £160 was raised for church funds and the proceeds from the raffle have been used to pay for the painting of the church front windows.

Due to holidays only 9 members were able to attend the April Meeting. Everyone had a pleasant surprise when ex-member Doreen arrived as a guest. The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed. Marina gave details of the Group Meeting on 17th May. For the second time this year a speaker was unable to come. Once again Alison very kindly took over and arranged an enjoyable sing song with members saying what memories were brought to mind with some of the songs. The competition was won by Jean with Lynn 2nd and Margaret 3rd. Refreshments were served by Lynn and Margaret and stall was run by Ruby. The raffle was won by Ruby.
