Please remember to fill in an Electoral Form application form for your church if you wish to be on the new roll. Every six years we have to start a new roll so previous membership isn’t carried over. Please do sign up as being on the Electoral Roll enable you to be involved at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting where PCC members and others are appointed. Contact your Churchwardens or Electoral Roll Officer for more information.
Welcome
We are a group of twelve Anglican churches stretching from the Teme Valley up the slope of Clee Hill, and taking in parts of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire.
Latest from the Team
Don’t forget to pick up your Passionate for the Passion booklet from the back of any of the Team Churches. This Lent we are looking at John’s Gospel and by discussing four scenes of Jesus’ Passion we hope to learn together as we journey towards Holy Week. Passionate for the Passion will run on Lent 1, Lent 2, Lent 3 and Lent 5. You are very welcome to come along and share in the discussion or to simply sit and listen to what others have to say.
Please check the diary for services taking place on Mothering Sunday.
We have a whole range of services taking place throughout the Team in the days to come, as we celebrate the wonderful mystery that God came to be with us in the Christ child, born in Bethlehem. There is hopefully something for everyone – from traditional carol services, crib services, Christingle services and services of Holy Communion. Please check the details on the diary on the right hand side of this page. If your Christmas journey should bring you to one of our services you will find a warm welcome from us all. Please come and share in our joy!

With the coming of October we have the opportunity to share in giving thanks to God for the harvest that has been brought in. It has been a hard year for many of our farmers and so we also give thanks for their dedication in all of their work. Please come and share in one of our Harvest Service (all listed on the diary column on the right) and share in refreshments afterwards.
We hope you are all enjoying the lovely summer weather, however short and sweet it may prove to be! It’s strange how quiet August is, when the only difference between now and any other time is the schools being on holiday. There is plenty going on in all our churches and communities so please keep an eye out for notices. We also have much to look forward to including Plough Sunday on 22nd September and a Team Confirmation Service on 29th. – again keep your eyes peeled for notices! And in the meantime – just enjoy all our blessings!
We are delighted that as part of a fortnight’s visit to the Ludlow Deanery, Fr Aidan Mtoi will be spending a few days with us in the Tenbury Team. Aidan is the parish priest of Kigongoi in Marmaba Deanery, so is very much a friend of our link with Maramba. He is also currently being sponsored by Ludlow Deanery so he can complete a Certificate in Theology at St Mark’s Theological College in Dar es Salaam. During his stay Aidan will have many opportunities to visit every benefice in the deanery and will also be attending the Diocesan Conference at Harper Adams.
Aidan will be in the Tenbury Team from 2nd – 5th July and on the 14th and 15th July. On Sunday 15th July Aidan will be at the 10am service at St Mary’s Tenbury, where we will also welcome the Bishop of Tanga, Bishop Maimbo Mndolwa, who will be preaching. This service will be followed at 12noon with a bring and share lunch which everybody is warmly invited to. Please do come along and meet our Tanzanian friends! Bwana asifiwe!
If you wish to contact the Team Office please use our new landline number 01584 819030. The office is staffed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am-12noon. There is an answerphone for out of hours.
There are many events and services taking place throughout the communities of the Team to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee. Please look at the diary on the right hand side of this website. Come along and share in the celebrations! This is one of the Jubilee prayers:
God of time and eternity,
whose Son reigns as servant, not master;
we give you thanks and praise
that you have blessed this Nation, the Realms and Territories
with ELIZABETH,
our beloved and glorious Queen.
In this year of Jubilee,
grant her your gifts of love and joy and peace
as she continues in faithful obedience to you, her Lord and God
and in devoted service to her lands and peoples,
and those of the Commonwealth,
now and all the days of her life;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Due to the rather inclement weather we have been experiencing the Hope Bagot Festive Day has been cancelled. Many apologies to everyone who was hoping to come.
