WELCOME TO OUR FRIENDS FROM MARAMBA!

Well, it’s been a busy week as we have welcomed four teachers from our Link in Maramba Deanery, Tanzania, who are with us for a fortnight. Saida Ramadhani , Yohanna Philimon, Julius Benjamin and Yona Mkodo are from our link schools Maramba A Primary School and Lugongo Primary School. Their trip has been mostly funded by a British Curriculum grant and as part of the requirements of the grant they have to do at least five days teaching, which will take place in Tenbury CE Primary School. As part of their visit our friends have visited friends at Burford CE Primary School and Clee Hill Community School. They has also been on trips to Bridgnorth, Ludlow and Hereford. There is still a full week to go on their itinerary and we hope that many of you will have the opportunity to say hello to our visitors before they leave. Their last event is the musical concert that is being hosted at St Mary’s, Tenbury Wells 7pm 23rd March. This will be a real treat for our ears as the choirs of Tenbury CE Primary School, St Laurence’s Primary School, St Mary’s Church Choir and our Tanzanian friends entertain us. Ticket available on the door – come and join us!
