As I type, work has just been completed on the restoration of the churchyard Preaching Cross and it looks magnificent. It is a great relief that it all went fairly smoothly. Unfortunately, we were unable to hold an open-air service around it on 3 June, (Corpus Christi), as the barriers and scaffolding were still in place. Photographs have been taken to show the restoration procedure and these, together with other information, will form part of a permanent record for future generations.
