The funeral of Peter Jenkins, long-serving Church Warden and stalwart of our parish, took place on Thursday June 3rd. As well as carrying out his public offices with great diligence, Peter also undertook many other tasks which helped things to run smoothly. He was a dedicated servant to the church of St Mary Magdalene, and he will be greatly missed. Our sympathies are with his widow, Kate, and his family.
