Never having been to a Beetle Drive before, I was a little disappointed on arriving at the Nash Village Hall not to see a beetle wrangler with a stock box full of beetles. However my disappointment soon went when I saw the hall laid out with the tables and the kitchen counter laid out with the food.
It was a very pleasant evening with a good crowd of all ages and everyone having a good time. The evening was organised by Carmen Jennings, with the food made by Pat Deeley and June Radnor and sincere thanks go to them and others who helped to make the evening so enjoyable. The sum raised was £84.
