… enthusiastic people are needed to help Jackie Mapes and her team to continue to produce flower arrangements in church. Anybody with a love of flowers is welcome and no experience is necessary, as Jackie and her fellow flower arrangers are all willing to support and guide any novices.
Most of us had never tried to do ‘church’ arrangements before being gently cajoled by Jackie and confidence does come with practice. It is hugely rewarding to hear the comments of worshippers and visitors, who feel that they have been uplifted by the beauty of the flowers around them.
….also, we are looking for anyone with a spare hour every four weeks or so to partner Jackie on the cleaning rota.
