Festivities got off to a cracking start with our annual village party in the Hope Bagot and Whitton Village Hall on Tuesday 15th December. Families and friends from near and far entertained or were entertained to readings, repartee and singing. During the interval delicious hot cottage pie was served for supper and six lucky folk were presented with gifts from the lucky ticket draw. Our grateful thanks to the cooks for providing the supper and to all those who helped to decorate and prepare the hall so festively, did the washing up and donated the draw prizes. Thank you to Mac for organising the evening so well.
