Those attending our services over Christmas will benefit from carpeted benches (provided you don’t sit right at the back), thanks to the kindness of A L Selley Carpets in Tenbury in giving us off-cuts and sample books. We also have a curtain over the west door, donated by a parishioner and hanging from a splendid metal curtain pole made for us by David Rea in Brimfield. I hesitate to tempt fate, but if all goes according to plan tomorrow our electricity provider and electrician will between them sort out the electrics so that we can use more than half the heaters at once for the first time since February. Then we’ll really be warm (or, more realistically, warmer!).
