A Faculty has been granted to enable repairs to be undertaken to the churchyard’s Preaching Cross. We are awaiting news from the Heritage Lottery Fund, to which we are in the process of applying for a grant to help with costs.
This is going to be an exciting project, on a far wider scale than our church community. Interest and offers of help have been expressed from Tenbury Historical Society and Tenbury and Burford Civic Society and we hope to involve local schools as well. There will be a great amount to see and to do during the repairs and we intend to make a permanent record of the restoration of this important structure.
