This was held on Sunday 11 October, with Beth Knight, together with Sue Foster leading the traditional service that means so much to we country-folk. Sue made a harvest Christingle, using a pumpkin, which was an imaginative and new idea to most of the congregation.
After less than perfect summer weather, Raymond Morris has had his best crop of hops and the grain and fruit have been of good quality too, so we have plenty about which to be thankful.
Mary Thomas and Anne Yarnold provided a superb harvest supper and we do thank them and all who helped in any way.
